Charleston

Steeped in tradition, this jewel box of a port town has charm and elegance around every cobblestoned corner. Founded in 1670, Charleston boasts some of America’s oldest lineage but do not let the pretense fool you, these Southern Belles and Beaus like to party. Whether looking to set sail in the harbor, surf the beaches, or drink and shop your way down King Street – there is something for everyone. In the last decade Charleston has experienced exponential growth and collected several James Beard awards earning her gourmand reputation. This guide should serve as merely a starting point for your own explorations. We find the best way to really fall in love with Charleston is to get lost within the Spanish moss and pastel palette, with a bottle of Rose in your bike basket you will feel like a local in no time.

167 RawThis Nantucket Staple arrived on the scene a couple years ago and has been packed ever since. Our fav is the lobster roll accompanied with some oysters, the Ahi Poke and a bottle of rosé. Bonus? The staff has some of the cutest boys in town…wink, wink.

5 Church

This building actually used to be a church and tells the history of Charleston through art. They are known for their prime 60 second steak, but we also adore their crispy chicken and tuna tartare. This spot is also great for hosting larger parties and turns up the volume on the weekends.

Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit

Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit

We found Callie after a late night on King Street, her delicious biscuits were just what we needed to fill and absorb the alcohol. Open from 8am-2pm, and then reopening at 10pm-2am for the rest of us degenerates. These little bites of heaven are good on their own, or as a sandwich. They are also sold frozen, a perfect gift!
